Kerala Fire & Rescue Services Academy Walkathon with Daya General Hospital
A Walkathon was jointly organized by the Kerala Fire & Rescue Services Academy and Daya Cardiology Department on September 29, 2025, at 8:45 AM, in connection with World Heart Day.
The welcoming address was given by Mr. Jayarajan K. (Administrator, Daya Hospital). The event was presided over by Dr. V.K. Abdul Azeez (Managing Director, Daya Hospital).
The Walkathon was flagged off by a group including:
- Mr. Dileep S.L. (Assistant Director, Kerala Fire and Rescue Services Academy)
- Assistant Station Officer P.B. Premkumar
- Dr. Ullass C.S., Dr. Iqbal P.T., Dr. Sultan Raslin Salih (Doctors from the Cardiology Department, Daya Hospital)
- Dr. Niwin George (Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon)
- Abdul Jabbar M.M. (Director, Daya Hospital)
The walk started from Daya Hospital and proceeded via Peringavu Junction, Viyyur, and the Powerhouse, finally concluding at the Fire Service Academy.
