Daya General Hospital observed Pink October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, on 21 October 2026, with a meaningful programme organised by the Daya Oncology Department to spread awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
The programme was inaugurated by Stephen Devassy, renowned musician and inspirational artist. The event brought together breast cancer survivors, doctors and healthcare professionals to share a message of hope, courage and awareness.
Through expert insights and the inspiring presence of survivors, the programme highlighted the importance of regular screening, timely diagnosis and access to appropriate treatment. It also served as a reminder that early detection can make a significant difference in the fight against breast cancer.
