Daya General Hospital Achieves Prestigious JCI Accreditation
Daya General Hospital has proudly achieved Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to global standards of patient safety, quality care, and clinical excellence. With this achievement, Daya General Hospital becomes the first hospital in Thrissur to be accredited by JCI.
The comprehensive JCI survey was conducted over four days — 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th January, and was carried out by an esteemed team of international JCI assessors: Jonathan M. Carretas, David S. Loose, Aishath Rahila, and Patricia M. O'Shea. The survey involved a detailed evaluation of clinical practices, patient safety protocols, hospital operations, and quality improvement systems across the facility.
This remarkable accomplishment was made possible under the strong leadership of Dr. Abdul Azeez V.K. (Managing Director), Dr. Fazil Abubakar (Medical Director), and Mr. Haseeb Ahsan (Chief Executive Officer), along with the unwavering dedication and coordinated efforts of doctors, nurses, technicians, administrative staff, and support teams.
